'Brought a tear to my eye in places as well as angrily tutting at Firmager's bit''

I thought Firmager's 'bit' was comfortably the best bit. Sounds as if he is doing well for himself too. Fair play.

Re: Radio 4 Goodbye Boleyn live
Dapablo, thanks for posting. I streamed it off the BBC Radio 4 iPlayer and listened to it when I got home from work here in San Francisco. The Mrs (who has been to to Upton Park) said "you'd better get yourself over here before the end of the season.

I love the Nuns. "Being close to West Ham has made us rich in the eyes of God." Then they sang Bubbles. 58 year-old man teared up in front of his kids.

Brought a tear to my eye as well. Very well done programme - good old BBC - get used to more of this in the coming months (though I doubt many will get it as right as this one did.) *sniff*

Emotional stuff somehow the radio puts it over much better than visually watching it.

Good listen. Even though no ST holder as I live far away, must get back to the Boleyn for a game before it's gone. COYI.

That's the trouble with the next generations they think they bloody invented the game, who can go and who can't, bloody kids eh!.

Arriving early to queue for the turnstiles the proper way to do it, half time Bovril!

Listened to this in the car at lunchtime. Very good indeed. Brought a tear to my eye in places as well as angrily tutting at Firmager's bit.

I for one won't miss walking through New Dehli. Will miss the old ground, but we have to move with the future and this will give us a much bigger chance of growing as a club. Also it will be much easier travelling from Chelmsford than sodding about on the god awful tube.

I'll sell my season ticket for the right amount of money for last game.

Thanks for putting this up Dapablo.

Quality programme. Somehow the sounds without the sights hit you more. Hearing those onions frying...I could smell them, along with the horseshit and beer.

Fuck.

It's going to be emotional.

Re: Radio 4 Goodbye Boleyn live
Your sort aren't wanted Dapablo.

If you're not arsed to turn up all season why bother for the last game?

Grief/glory tourist.
